"Snowmagedon!" "Snowpocolypse!" "Icetastrophe!"

Well nearly 24 hours of sleet and freezing rain had the Werners held up at 1718 Simpson for two plus days-and it hasn't been pretty.

We made cookies, colored, laundry basket sledded down the street, played games and watched Sebastian sing "Kiss the Girl" countless times on the ipad. We danced, played Keaton's tushie like a guitar, C had to sit in the naughty chair twice for bonking sissy on the head with toys...oh and we also turned the third floor into "tent city". (which sounds more impressive than it ended up being-my working conditions and materials never really matched up with my vision. This let down lead to PJW pitching the real tent in the dining room-yes the dining room...)

We wore our pj's for nearly two days straight. I made a roast, about 5 lbs of spicy sausage pasta, we had BBQ, pancakes....I'm sure I've gained 10lbs.

"Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot.... Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time." (Great Granny B, you're not going to get this, its a movie quote)

So Friday night we were eating Pizza at Dewey's at 5:00pm. Home and in bed by 8:00. Yes, 8:00.

This morning we got up and Chaney went to her first gymnastics class. We all came home and took naps, got up had some chicken strips and went to the park.

So far its been a real wild and crazy weekend at the Werner house!

We got quite a bit of snow here over the last week or so. Here are some pictures of C enjoying it with Nellie. (poor Nellie-she was frozen and C would pitch a fit everytime Nellie would head back to the porch, dutifully Nel would return to the yard for yet another snow angel...best dog ever!)

So Chaney has really been a ham lately. One of my favorite new things is "shake on it". PJW cuts deals with her..."we will watch one more video on the ipad and then its time for bed, deal? Shake on it?" ....the C shakes her whole body like shes getting hit with 300 volts-its pretty cute.

K's been taking a 6:00am bath pretty regularly these days-not sure about those Target diapers...AND I can't keep her from dunking her head, she loves it-even when she comes up looking like this its back down for more bubble blowing!


C's been really in to Nellie lately...pretty sure Dad dressed her that morning....
