A lot has gone down in the last week...C's been sick for the first time, we moved Granny back to Springfield...well ok, I guess that's really it, but the two things together seemed to create quite a bit of chaos.

While we got Granny, or "Nannie" as C says, settled, C and K stay with Grandpa and Miss Laurie and are still recovering. C was up this morning at 7:30, ate, and then asked to go back to bed where she stayed until after 10:00!

C had her first donut on her way to Springfield last weekend...we couldn't resist, had to give her a chocolate iced just for the pictures...

I know, I know...word on the street is people are talking bad about my lack of attention to the blog. I'm sorry, really I don't have a good excuse. Girls are doing great, work is good, most importantly everyone is sleeping! I have just been neglecting it. So the last few weeks...

Keaton is sleeping! Who-hoo! She seems to be over her reflux-finally-and she's soooo close to walking. She says "momma", "dada" and just tonight we confirmed she also does "bye-bye" while waving!

Chaney wrapped up Gymnastics last weekend and has transitioned into soccer. She had her first practice last weekend and did surprisingly well. She seems to have no regard for her safety while dribbling the ball down the field with her head up, which pjw says is a big deal-most want to look at their feet. (i think she just hasn't figured out she should be worried about falling-sometimes ignorance is bliss...or mistaken for natural athletic ability)

So all in all everyone is well! In a few weeks we will start planning birthday parties-crazy huh!

Grandpa threatened to riot if we didn't post this picture of C with Layla the cat from a recent visit to the farm. (looks like Cs rocking a Christian County mullet here doesn't it-all thats missing is a gold medallion and an Z-28...)

Chaney loves Layla the cat so much she has named her stuffed kitty after her...I prefer the stuffed to the real thing myself...

Also, here is a cute picture of her eating at the big girl table. (i promise to get some K pictures in soon-posting have been a bit C-centric lately...)

Unfortunately its been a while since my last post and I dont really have anything exciting to share. I could write about how hectic things are, but I've come to accept things are just going to be that way for, oh, lets see 18 years or so...probably longer.
