Smooch!

So PJW and I spent the weekend in Springfield helping Nanny get ready to move. So Uncle Bubba and Natalie spent the weekend with the girls. (well after a princess party with yia yia, and a park trip with pa-pa; count that and two large naps and I'd say they had a fairly light schedule...but still...)

ANYWAY...thought Uncle Bubba might need a little reminder about how sweet his neices are.

Catching Up...

So the problem with posting once every couple weeks is that there are so many pictures to sort through! Since my last post we have had Easter, been to Pontiac, been to the Zoo, killed hundreds of bugs - all be it unintentionally, and have generally been having a good time around the house.

Both girls are doing great. Keaton is really talking - when she can get a word in edgewise with Chaney. Chaney is a bit of a ham. In fact, I'll start my pictures with one of Chaney in her tutu...she told us she was "going to show us her sweet moves". (I'll let those who know us best decide whether you think she gets her "sweet moves" from her dad or her mom)

We hunted eggs approximately 100 times this Easter. Nanny's house, Lola's house, Yia-Yia's house, oh, and finally on Easter evening-our house...here is Chaney during our trip to Pontiac at "Just Jackies" enjoying her cheeseburger, and the girls with cousin Lola feeding the fish at the Dock. (Does anyone know how long those carp live; could they possibly be the same fish I fed??!!)

And here the girls are just about to set off the panic button at Grandpa's office. About 10 mintues after this picture was taken 4 guards ran through the door ready to take down this sticky fingered threat to the Courtroom.

Bugs and Soccer.

So the girls are really into bugs. Dead ones, live ones, they don't discriminate.

If the inch worms ever rise up and take over the world 1227 S. Geyer is going to be their first stop for redemption...

And Chaney started soccer last week. She is loving it. She "played" last year but was really too young. What a difference a year makes! K will get to play next year, but she likes to go and watch sissy. (and play the video games)

Suson Park

We love Suson Park. It is part of the County Parks system and has a small "farm" on it. They have horses, cows, pigs, chickens; you get the idea...

When we lived in the City it was a pretty long trip, but now that we are just a bit further west its a quick and easy trip, perfect for an hour or two of outdoor fun. Definitely a perk of our new location.

Here are some pictures from today's trip.
