Free Time?
I can't for the life of me remember what we did with all our free time "pre-kiddos". Even when it was just Chaney; I know at the time it didn't seem like we had any spare minutes, but seriously, we could have been learning a second language or something.

yaaawwwnnnn....a BIG weekend for the Werners. C's 2nd birthday party on Saturday, K's Baptism on Sunday! We have had two full days of non-stop cake and cookies, ice-cream and sweets. Its going to take me a week to detox! (maybe longer due to the leftovers)
Here are a few pictures to tide everyone over until i can do a more thoughtful post! (more coming of K's baptism-our pictures didn't turn out so great-here's hoping one of the other 50 cameras there got some better shots!)

Wow time flies! Sorry for the lag in posts lately. (seems like i have had to apologize for that before huh!)
All is well in the Lou. Chaney's birthday is coming up. 2 years seems impossible but never-the-less we are gearing up for a big piggy party in the park. I spent the better part of one evening sorting through pictures and deciding on invitations and it seems like I should have just done K's at the same time; hers will be here before we know it too!
C has been very "2" lately. Everything is "me" and "mine"! We are working really hard on sharing with sissy, but if truth be told I'm not sure its getting through. We keep trying to explain that she needs to master this sharing skill before sissy gets much bigger; K already wins in the "toy tug of war" that happens several times daily and she'll be able kick her rear soon!
K has taken a few steps and seems just on the verge of becoming a real walker. She continues to be an expert climber, regularly climbs up and down off the couch and footstools and she can scale the steps in a matter of seconds! We have been speculating what her sport will be...rugby maybe?
Here are a few pictures from the last couple of weeks...
The big bowl of water continues to be a fan favorite...here C is cooling off after soccer practice

And a picture of K on a recent walk

A lot has gone down in the last week...C's been sick for the first time, we moved Granny back to Springfield...well ok, I guess that's really it, but the two things together seemed to create quite a bit of chaos.
While we got Granny, or "Nannie" as C says, settled, C and K stay with Grandpa and Miss Laurie and are still recovering. C was up this morning at 7:30, ate, and then asked to go back to bed where she stayed until after 10:00!
Here are a few pictures from the last week....
Keaton is a climber...turn your head for a second and she'll be up the stairs on her way to the second floor!

A big bowl of water...our new favorite outdoor toy, even gets them to play together!

C had her first donut on her way to Springfield last weekend...we couldn't resist, had to give her a chocolate iced just for the pictures...
