Bugs and Soccer.

So the girls are really into bugs. Dead ones, live ones, they don't discriminate.

If the inch worms ever rise up and take over the world 1227 S. Geyer is going to be their first stop for redemption...

And Chaney started soccer last week. She is loving it. She "played" last year but was really too young. What a difference a year makes! K will get to play next year, but she likes to go and watch sissy. (and play the video games)

Suson Park

We love Suson Park. It is part of the County Parks system and has a small "farm" on it. They have horses, cows, pigs, chickens; you get the idea...

When we lived in the City it was a pretty long trip, but now that we are just a bit further west its a quick and easy trip, perfect for an hour or two of outdoor fun. Definitely a perk of our new location.

Here are some pictures from today's trip.

Hellloooo Spring!

Kinda crazy that a few posts ago we were having snowball fights and this entry will have pictures of the girls in shorts and tank-tops! (yes, I know my posts have been a bit few-and-far between lately, but still!)

We have been really enjoying the new yard. However, with all this rain and early sun we need to get our riding lawn mower stat! Patrick is gung-ho about taking care of the yard himself...but I have a landscaper on call just in case. (sorry honey)

A few pictures from the last few days...

My little rebel girls at the park this week...

and one of Chaney's favorite games...backyard "poop hunt" with Dad and the flashlight...

My Point Exactly...

To further emphasize my "Time Flies" point below; I couldn't help but post this picture of K. No longer a baby, but a little girl! (By the way, it was 70 degrees this day, but she had to have her hat on to leave the house--the girls loves an accessory!)

Summarizing the Last Couple Weeks....

1. Its funny how two kids from the same parents can be so different.

2. Dads don't always know how to put undies on a little girl. (I've had to fix a few leg-through-waistband situations these last couple weeks since C's been wearing her undies)

3. Men love to burn things. (Our fire pit has been going non-stop with sticks, leaves, trash...really anything that will burn)

4. Time flies. (We have been looking at preshcools for Chaney-Oh my!)

Snowball Fight-Kinda

You Win St. Louis County...You Win...

I both hate - and secretly love - that I can turn right out of our driveway and in under 5 minutes be at Target, TJ Maxx, Bed Bath & Beyond, Marshalls, Home Depot, Lowes, Sams, Wal-mart, Chili's, O'Charley's, Fudruckers, Ruby Tuesdays, Old Navy, Home Goods, Hobby Lobby...you get the point.

It may not be trendy or hip to live in the burbs, but it sure is convenient.
